How do you contribute to a better environment?

RE: How do you contribute to a better environment?
I feel I do my part. I recycle. I don't liter. I help out by walking to places and only driving when going far distances. I keep lights off until late at night when I need them on and I only turn on the water when I need it. I feel I do my part in the larger fight against keeping the environment from becoming horribly dirty and useless. Of course my efforts are useless without the help of others.

I do my little part, though i certainly could do more.

If you want to, i suggest you read the linked page carefully:
Protect the environment

and then read this one to find out what you can do
What you can do to help

Some of the things you can do are so simple and obvious, but people still don't do them. I mean, who can't turn the TV off when it's not in use, use public transport and just recycle thngs instead of binning them?

I ride my bike to work instead of driving. And use those crazy looking lightbulbs.

Yeah, i use my bike too. But sometimes the distance is just too long and no public transport is available.

One of the main reasons concrete structures perform so much better than wood is that wood structures leak air and can’t ever be completely sealed. Another factor is the problems wood frame construction has with mildew and termites.
