This is the first democratic debate I've seen. Obama impressed me in some ways, but in general they've both disappointed me. Coming from a libertarian view point all I heard was hand out, regulate, and tax. Also I think I heard Obama say that he was a constitutional law professor, but also basically stated that the president has the right to go to war. The constitution states very clearly that congress declares war, not the president. It reminded me of Kucinich saying that he looks to the constitution as the reason to not assassinate Bin Laden without a trial, but supports government health care. If he had said that we need to amend the constitution and then support government health care, at least then he wouldn't be hypocritical.
