Does he have any chance? [Huckabee]
With McCain now the clear front-runner and with his delegate count quite a ways ahead of Huckabee, does Huckabee even stand a chance of pulling an upset? He's been winning in a lot of states recently and with Romney out of the mix, he may continue that trend; however, is it too little too late?

RE: Does he have any chance?
I think it might be. There aren't enough delegates for him to catch up, even if he were to win all the states from here on in. I think he wants to show that he's valuable as a VP to McCain at this point. Of course, stranger things have happened, like the delegates voting against their constituents, but it's unlikely.

No. And I'm glad! Huckabee doesn't belong in the WH.

But he could go back to Arkanas and lead a mega-church. He would be a very popular and decent minister, and possibly usher in a healthier more realistic form of christian evangelicalism. Move over Robertson, Dobson and the rest of that old guard.

Well, regardless of what happens, I admire the guy for sticking it out. As long as there's the smallest chance of pulling an upset he seems determined to remain in the race.

RE: Does he have any chance?
With Romney out and McCain and Huckabee left, Huckabee sadly has no chance. Maybe he will stay on for a while then drop out in the hopes of getting some type of position if McCain wins the overall election.

RE: Does he have any chance?
But wait! There's more! Huckabee is not ready to throw in the towel just yet. I'd just been wondering whether he was going to quit altogether after pausing his campaign, and I'd even heard McCain referred to as the Republican Candidate, and here comes the Huckabee kid!

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/02/2...1164.shtml

"I never believed you get to the finish line by quitting before you get to the finish line," Huckabee told his impassioned supporters, who rarely took a break from cheering on their candidate.

And heck, he's doing better than our old friend Ralph Nader Spin

We all know he has a snow ball's chance in hell, but could we at least be truthful? Ron Paul is still in the race too.
