Making a stink about a photo...
There was a photo taken at the State of the Union address that shows Hilary Clinton reaching to shake Ted Kennedy's hand and Obama turning away. All the pundits seem to jump on that photo as being a snub, but to me, it just looked like he was turning to get out of the crowd. I don't know why people want to read more into it than was actually there. But I guess such is the way.

People always like to make a fuss over little, insignificant things.

Do you have a link to the photo in question?

No, sorry I don't have a link to it. I saw it on CNN and FoxNews several times as the pundits made a big deal over it.

I found that photo that I was talking about that seemed all the rage the other day:

What gets me about this is that no one bothered to take a photo of the two of them greeting each other just before they walked into the room for the State of the Union???

I compare it to this: If you are walking in to a wedding at the same time as your cousin, you both say hello and greet each other then as you enter, go off your separate ways. 20 minutes later, you are at the table with your aunts and uncles, when your cousin walks up to say hello to everyone. Now seeing as how you've already greeted each other, don't you think it would be silly to re-greet" each other. Would you? I think not! This is the same situation.

The media just wants to get people fired up over nonsense, to cover the fact that they have NO JOURNALISM SKILLS whatsoever.

It is ridiculous they even commented on this...F**kin media!

I think that we just have to give the American public the benefit of the doubt on this one. I hope that the average American is smart enough to figure out that a photograph is one millisecond of what was a very long night.

RE: Making a stink about a photo...
I recently found out that what switched my mother from Hillary to Obama, was when I was discussing with her why she supported Hillary. she told me - Experience. she has 35 years of experience. So I said to her, Well mom, let's look at the last 35 years, is that type of experience really going to help us change the system? How happy have you really been with the politics of washington over the last 35 years? The last 35 years of politics in Washington is exactly what got us where we are (with W acting as a accelerant)

She said, you know, I never thougth of it that way. She now drives around with Obama bumber stickers and wears her Obama pin everywhere, telling people why not to vote for Hillary...8 more years of the same old politics in Washington!

IMO just more media hype.

What I'd like to find is the clip where John McCain went across the Senate floor to greet Barack Obama during one of their sessions. It was when they were both there for a vote. Hillary didn't bother to show up.
