Bin Laden's son to father: Change your ways

Omar sends message of peace in an interesting read over at CNN:

Unfortunately, it's hard to not associate Omar's motives with those of Osama's; however, I think what he's trying to do is a good thing and, if nothing else, is a step in the right direction.

In fact, him and his wife, Zaina, are organizing a multi-month horse race throughout North Africa in the name of peace that's set to kick off this year.

Interesting fact:
His wife is roughly twice his age. He's 26, so...

Sometimes the apple does fall far from the tree and it's good that his son is trying to make amends for the acts of his father. People, of course, will wonder how pure his motives are given the name, and I have some degree of doubt myself. However, if he does, I think it will help in the long run. I have known a lot of cases where the son is much different than the father in personality, opinions and beliefs.
