In countries like Singapore, it is death penalty depending on the amount (which is very small).. What do you think should be the right way to handle these people?

Drugs should be legal. If adults want to sell them, and other adults want to poison them selfs it's their decision. Prohibition didn't work either, and we waste a lot of money and prison space on non-violent victim-less crimes.

RE: what should the penalty be for Drug Dealing?
While there are a lot of people in jail for just possession of marijuana that shouldn't be, you can't group all drug dealing into one category. Like most things in the legal system, there is no black and white, and so each case should be considered separately. If you are selling crack to kids, for example, you should be far worse punished then a guy selling weed to a cancer patient for pain management.
I do think marijuana should be legalized, at least for pharmacy use. It has a lot of healthy properties that are beneficial to many people. I don't lump it in the same category as crack cocaine (which I would not want to see legalized), but if oxycontin and morphine are allowed to be sold as a prescription drug, marijuana should as well. |

RE: what should the penalty be for Drug Dealing?
Well doing it by prescription is better than outright bans. I doubt selling crack to kids happens that much anyway. It shouldn't be legal either, kids can't make a decision about things like that. But by 16, or 18 all drugs should be legal, it's not an issue that the state should manage, and it's defiantly not one that they do a good job at.

It sould be a prison sentence. Preferably a very long one or for life if it was actually giving other a dangerous drug.
I don't know why someone said it should be legal and its an adults choice to take drugs. Them taking drugs would mean more health problems which means the goverment needs to pay more for health. Help protect the environment | Play free games online |
